Urgent HONEYWELL Last Time Buy Notification
Dear clients,
After a comprehensive evaluation of our Space product portfolio including current and future Space market needs, we have decided to issue a Last-Time Buy (LTB) of all SOI-IV, SOI-V, and S150 based foundry technologies. This last-time buy includes all HX2000, HX3000 and HX5000 ASICs, RadHard Standard Products, High-Temperature products, and foundry services products fabricated at our Plymouth, Minnesota foundry. This difficult decision was driven by significantly reduced wafer volume and aging technologies. Many Space customers are now using more advanced nodes; therefore, Honeywell will continue to develop and pursue Radiation Hardened by-Design (RHBD) microelectronic products starting with our HX7000 ASIC offering using Global Foundry’s 32nm technology.
We will accept orders for RHBP ASICs and RHBP standard products through November 30, 2018, after which time no additional orders will be accepted. Build and delivery will be completed as early as possible; however, lead time will be determined at the time of order based on demand.
If applicable, we will consider any new designs on a case-by-case basis to support customer needs. We will keep you updated as warranted and, in the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, your primary Honeywell contact can address them or escalate them to ensure we follow up with you in a timely manner.
